today's video I wanted to show you how I like to clean my makeup brushes so I have a bunch that I'm going to be showing you guys how I clean today they're all nice and dirty I've been using them for like the past week
so I recently posted a video about how I clean my Beauty blenders so you guys really liked that video and in the comments I got a lot of requests to show you guys what I do to actually clean my makeup brushes the cleansing methods.
I do for the Beauty Blender which I will link down below for you guys works absolutely perfectly I have not found anything that works better than that and so I continue to do that for my Beauty Blender for my brushes I do something totally different and use totally different products I love trying new things out I know you guys do too so let us know how you guys like to clean your makeup brushes down in the comments please leave a thumbs up if you ended up liking this video where you solve it helpful let's go ahead and get right into the video first thing is I take a glass jar like this.
I just got this at Michael you can also you know find them online on Amazon ok max so what you need is a cup of hot water I'm going to go ahead and pour that in a tablespoon of dish soap I think this is gone Dawn dish soap to use baby shampoo - a tablespoon of distilled white vinegar I'm going to mix it around put your brushes in face down and the reason why I like a jar like this is because it keeps all my brushes up so that way the water doesn't you know seep into the brush handle and then just let them all sit like this for 20 minutes okay guys. so it's been 20 minutes depending on the brush size like if it's a smaller brush you find a small one like this almost we're all going to turn this on between hot and cold and you just simply rinse it like that and then I have this little towel here here but I lay the brush to dry but if it's a bigger brush there's this technique that I really like to do where I use this it's actually an Oreo cookie mirror you can get this on eBay for like a dollar so it comes with this little comb right here it's like the perfect size. so that I can brush through the bristle hairs and get all of that makeup that's dislodge in the brush out so I'm going to run it under this water and it just really helps to get rid of all of the makeup that's in there especially if it's harden this will make sure that you are 100% getting everything out even in the center of the brush once the water runs clear I just turn the water off and just kind of gently squeeze the bristles to get the excess water out and again I'll just lay it flat to dry overnight just going to twirl turn my water on and then over the water and brush okay so again just want to give it a good whirl in there turn your water on and rinse it out. you can brush it through you'll see all the makeup come right out you can brush it from different angles too if I'm at that house just gently squeeze out the water and that's it lay it flat to dry there's all that dirt and makeup and gross this that was on the brushes all in here so you just go ahead and dump that out and clean out your jar this is what the brushes look like once they're all cleaned and they're laid flat to dry I did make sure to kind of shape them as well so that they dry in the shape that I want them to be there's no like random hair sticking out or anything like that I'm going to show you guys what the brushes look like once they're all dry okay guys so that is it for the tutorial that is how I like to clean my makeup brushes very quick easy and cheap I am very curious to know still what you guys like to do to clean your makeup brushes. what to use to clean makeup brushes how to clean makeup brushes diy how to clean makeup brushes with shampoo how to clean makeup brushes youtube how to clean makeup brushes without baby shampoo how often to clean makeup brushes how to clean makeup brushes naturally how to clean makeup brushes with vinegar clean makeup brushes how clean makeup brushes to clean makeup brushes how to clean makeup brushes how wash makeup brushes clean makeup brushes diy best way to clean makeup brushes how to clean your makeup brushes how to clean makeup brushes at home mat to clean makeup brushes what to clean makeup brushes with what to use to clean makeup brushes
